Ask families which parts of ordinary travel are hard, such as meals, gear, rooms, transport or finding suitable activities. Test whether your camp solves those problems. Include the views and needs of different household members.
Families may choose camp because ordinary trips require too much planning. Ask what would make this trip easier: food, gear, safe play, childcare, room layout, transport, or predictable routines.
Ask about a real recent holiday. What was tiring? What cost more than expected? Which family member had the least suitable experience?
Show practical details early. Parents may need to know whether a stroller fits the path, whether the bathroom is inside the cabin, and whether a baby can nap near the daytime program.
Talk to children too in an appropriate way. They may care about making friends, choosing activities, or not being forced into games with much younger siblings.
Test the full price for the actual household. A “from” price based on two adults and two children may tell a single parent very little.
Use a small approved family day or short pilot to test handovers, meals, naps, and age-separated activities. Watch where caregivers become trapped between competing needs.
