Ski and Snowboard Camp Cancellation, Closure and Refund Terms
Explain how missed days, skill changes, illness, missing gear, transport disruption and resort closure affect bookings. Distinguish customer cancellation from services you cannot deliver. Have the terms checked before accepting payment.
Your terms should be clear before payment. Have them reviewed for the laws that apply to your customers and location.
Cover illness, injury, missed days, late arrival, wrong skill placement, unsafe conduct, missing gear, resort closure, partial terrain opening, transport disruption, and low enrollment. State who decides and how customers receive notice.
Distinguish a customer choosing not to attend from the camp being unable to deliver. Do not use one sentence, “No refunds for any reason”, to hide important differences or override legal rights.
Explain whether you can move someone into another group and what happens when no suitable place exists. Tell customers whether supplier credits are transferable or expire. Never promise a refund that your cash plan cannot fund.
Use a conduct process that protects everyone. A participant removed for unsafe behaviour still needs a safe handover or departure arrangement. Staff must not abandon a child at the resort or force an adult into unsafe travel.
Write the weather policy beside the booking price. Families should not need to search a long legal document to find it.
Your task: Ask a person who has never booked skiing to explain your terms back to you.
