Track paid places by skill stream, supplier commitments, cash available for refunds, placement changes, late arrivals, equipment failures, and time lost to fitting. Track incidents and near misses, but never make low reporting a staff target.
Ask whether participants received the teaching and care promised. A full camp with chaotic rentals and no warm-break cover is not a good result.
Review the budget after each session. Compare actual lift, rental, food, staffing, and refund costs with the model. Separate one-time setup costs from recurring costs so the next decision is clear.
Meet briefly with the resort contact and teaching lead. Ask what blocked the day and which change would help most. Pay attention to repeated handover problems.
Use feedback by group. A beginner snowboard stream may need a different schedule from an experienced ski stream. Averaging them together can hide the real issue.
