Outdoor Adventure Camp Daily Schedule and Weekly Progression

Use the approved route and group needs to set realistic activity blocks, travel, breaks and learning time. Build progression gradually across the week. Treat the sample day as a planning structure rather than a timetable for every outdoor setting.

Here is a fictional local day-trip structure. Actual times must come from the approved route and group plan.

Part of day Work
Arrival Check roster, care updates, gear, weather, and transport
Travel and briefing Confirm route, signals, group roles, and help process
First field block Start gently, observe pace, practise one skill
Planned break Food, water, toilets, comfort check, route decision
Second field block Apply the skill within approved conditions
Return decision Confirm timing, conditions, and remaining energy
Travel back Passenger check and clear base update
Pickup Authorized release and important individual updates
Staff close Gear care, incident review, next-day plan

A four-day beginner week might move from local orientation, to route awareness, to a supported longer outing, to a final day applying learned skills. The qualified leader chooses the actual progression.

Do not make the last day harder simply because it is the last day. Conditions and the group still decide.

Your task: Give each day one clear skill and one easier alternative that still feels worthwhile.
