Idea 1 · 20 minutes on an approved walk
Make a trail noticing notebook
What you need: Notebook and pencil.
- Stay with the supervised group on the agreed route.
- Pause at a suitable spot and draw three things you notice.
- Share observations without touching unknown plants or disturbing wildlife.
Idea 2 · 20 minutes at base
Plan a tiny journey
What you need: Map supplied by the leader.
- Find the group's base and approved meeting points on the map.
- Discuss where a group might pause and what questions a leader would check.
- Compare the ideas with the real plan. Leave route decisions to the responsible leader.
Choose and adapt activities with your camp's leader. Check the space, ages, access needs and supervision before you begin.
