Make camp easy to book
Help people choose a camp, sign up, and know what happens next.

The main idea
Before you ask someone to fill in a form, make the dates, price, and next steps clear.
Part 1
Show the choices clearly
Put the dates, times, place, age group, and price together. Say if campers need to have tried the activity before. Explain any extras beside the choice.
For a family booking, show who is making the booking and which children are coming. Adults should also be able to book a place for themselves.
Part 2
Only ask for what you need
For each question on the form, ask why you need the answer and who should see it. Keep private details in a suitable place with limited access.
Try the form with made-up details. Ask someone new to the camp to try it too. Are any words or choices unclear?
Part 3
Explain what happens next
Send a clear note after someone books. Show the payment dates and the rules for changes before they pay.
- How do they know their place is booked?
- What do they still need to send?
- When will they get the first-day details?
- Who can help with a question or change?
Part 4
Plan for questions
What if a week is full? What if a form is not finished? What if someone cannot find their booking email?
Choose who will help with each problem. Make sure people know how to reach them.
