Part 1
Choose an idea
Give the group a place, an object, and a problem. Try a library, a lost key, and a door that will not open.
Let the group change the idea. Pick a kind of story that suits their age and interests.
Part 2
Make the story
- Choose a start, a problem, and an ending
- Give each person a way to help
- Draw a comic, write a page, or act out a scene
- Leave time to share with another group
Part 3
Try a quieter way
A camper can draw one character, make a scene alone, or listen. No one has to perform.
Ask what happened when everyone’s ideas came together.
