The main idea
Start with one clear idea. Choose a place, a team, and a plan that can bring it to life.
Part 1
Start with a simple idea
Who is your camp for? What will they do? Write the answer in one sentence. For example: “A weekend pottery camp for adults who have never tried it.”
Ask a few people if they would want to come. Talk to the people who would teach the activities too. Their questions can help you shape the plan.

Part 2
Find a place and a team
List the games, lessons, and breaks you want in each day. Then list the people, rooms, and supplies they need.
Visit the place before you book it. Talk through the plan with the site owner and your team.

Keep the first camp small
You do not have to try every idea at once. Start with one camp you can run well. You can add more later.
List your costs and when each bill is due. See what happens to the plan if fewer people sign up than you hope.
Part 4
Try the whole day before camp starts
Read your camp page as if you have never seen it. Are the dates, place, price, and next steps clear?
Then walk through the day with your team, from the first hello to home time.
