Faith and Community Camp Attendance, Health and Authorized Pickup
Use the same registration, care and handover process for every child, including leaders' and volunteers' families. Record attendance, relevant support and authorized collection. Familiar relationships should not create gaps in the camp's daily records.
Use the same care process for everyone, including children of leaders and volunteers. Familiarity should not create undocumented exceptions.
Record arrival, group assignment, relevant updates, and who accepts care. Keep health and medication arrangements reviewed and within staff training and authority.
Track movement between rooms, activities, trips, and any separate optional program. A child should never disappear from the roster because they moved to a reflection or support session.
Verify authorized pickup and record when care ends. A well-known community member is not automatically authorized to collect another person's child.
Plan late arrival, early departure, late pickup, and missing contacts. Keep enough staff to manage the end of the day safely.
For family camps or parent-attended sessions, use the Family guide's clear care handovers. “Parents are around” is not a complete supervision plan.
Your task: Test a normal day with one room change, one early pickup, and one child of a senior leader whose paperwork is incomplete.
