Faith and Community Camp Impact and Post-Camp Review
Review the outcomes the camp actually promised, including attendance, funded places, activities, volunteer readiness and participant experience. Compare them with costs and commitments. Report honest findings without turning individual people into promotional statistics.
Measure what you actually promised: attendance, access places delivered, activities completed, participant experience, partner usefulness, volunteer readiness, and financial result.
Do not treat religious declarations, emotional displays, or personal disclosures as performance targets. Participants' beliefs and private lives are not sales metrics.
Ask whether children felt safe, welcomed, heard, and able to ask questions. Ask families whether information was clear and care reliable. Ask volunteers whether training and support were sufficient.
Review complaints, incidents, and near misses openly within appropriate privacy limits. A strong reputation should come from handling concerns well, not from suppressing them.
Check that funding reports match the books and the actual program. Explain changes honestly and meet repayment or amendment duties where applicable.
Choose a few funded improvements. Better volunteer cover, transport, food planning, or simpler forms may serve the mission more than a larger event.
Your task: Write a review that includes participant experience, safeguarding, partner feedback, volunteer workload, and the true financial result.
