- Find a welcoming community setting
Review access, toilets, food areas and spaces for both active and quiet sessions.
- Make the budget and help with fees clear
List venue, food, staff, volunteer expenses and activity costs.
- Prepare volunteers for clear roles
Check screening, training and supervision requirements for volunteers and staff.
- Make the invitation clear and welcoming
Show the purpose, ages, dates, costs and any faith or community activities.
- Balance shared purpose with play and rest
Choose one clear theme for the day and explain it in simple words.
