Before camp opens
Use this as a starting list. Your team and venue may need more checks.
- Choose a question to explore
Pick one question or project, such as building a simple game or testing paper bridges.
- Prepare the room and the equipment
Check devices, chargers, power, internet and software permissions with the venue.
- Count kits, devices and preparation
List teacher time, room hire, device rental and any software charges.
- Find teachers who welcome questions
Choose leaders who know the subject and can explain it to the age group.
- Explain what learners need
Show ages, beginner requirements and what the group will make or explore.
- Build in time to test and try again
Begin with a short question or demonstration and a chance to predict what will happen.
