Test a paper bridge
What you need: Paper, two supports and suitable small test weights.
- A leader sets up a safe tabletop test with age-appropriate materials.
- Try a flat sheet, then a folded sheet across the same gap.
- Compare what happens and change one part of the design before another test.
Idea 2 · 20 minutes
Be a human robot
What you need: Floor markers or a paper grid.
- Mark a clear route with no obstacles or use a tabletop grid.
- One person gives simple directions while another moves a marker.
- Swap roles and fix any unclear instructions together.
Choose and adapt activities with your camp's leader. Check the space, ages, access needs and supervision before you begin.
