Make a nature colour map
What you need: Paper and coloured pencils.
- Choose an accessible outdoor area with clear boundaries and adult supervision.
- Look for colours without picking plants or disturbing animals.
- Draw the colours on a shared map, then compare what each group noticed.
Idea 2 · 30 to 45 minutes
Build a cardboard town
What you need: Cardboard, paper and age-appropriate craft supplies.
- Let small groups choose a building to make.
- Join the buildings with paper roads and parks.
- Invite each group to show who uses their building and how people get inside.
Choose and adapt activities with your camp's leader. Check the space, ages, access needs and supervision before you begin.
